Data Interpretation Questions for SBI Clerk 2012 Answers
1. (a) Marks of all student in Chemistry = 90 + 110 + 100 + 120 + 60 = 480
\(\frac { \text { Marks obtained by } 5 \text { in Chemistry } } { \text { Marks of all student in Chemistry } } \times 100\)
\(= \left( \frac { 120 } { 480 } \times 100 \right) \% = 25 \%\)

Data Interpretation Questions for SBI Clerk 2011 Exam
1. (c) From statements I and II, Let Mr. X’s monthly income = ₹ x. Then
\(\frac { 15 \times x } { 100 } = 4500\)
\(\Rightarrow x = \frac { 4500 \times 100 } { 15 }\) = ₹ 30000
From statements I and III,
\(x \times \frac { 4 } { 5 } \times \frac { 85 } { 100 } = 20400\)
\(\Rightarrow x = \frac { 20400 \times 5 \times 100 } { 4 \times 85 }\) = ₹ 30000
2. (a) From Statements I and III, Let Suchitra’s son’s present age be x years.
∴ Suchitra’s present age = 2x years
After 4 years,
\(\frac { 2 x + 4 } { x + 4 } = \frac { 13 } { 24 }\)
We can get the required answer by this relation.
3. (d) From all three statements, Seeta’s investment = ₹ \(\left( \frac { 3 } { 8 } \times 2.5 \right)\) = ₹ 93750
Geeta’s investment = ₹ 156250
Ratio of Neeta’s, Seeta’s and Geeta’s profit = 85000 × 24 : 93750 × 18 : 156250 × 18
We can get the share of Neeta if total profit is given.
So data given in all three statements is required to answer the question.
4. (d) Let the marked price of the article be ₹ x
From statement II.
\(\frac { 95 \times x } { 100 } = 608\)
\(\Rightarrow x = \frac { 608 \times 100 } { 95 }\) = ₹ 640
From statements I and III,
Marked price
\(= \frac { 128 \times 500 } { 100 }\) = ₹ 640
5. (d) Let S1 and S2 be the speed of train A and B respectively
Time taken by both the trains in crossing each other.
\(\frac { 450 } { \mathrm { S } _ { 1 } + \mathrm { S } _ { 2 } } = 12 , \mathrm { S } _ { 1 } + \mathrm { S } _ { 2 } = 37.5\)
S1 and S2 can have the so many values. Both statement I and II are not sufficient to find speed of train B.
6. (c) Required ratio
= (234 + 350 + 124) : (120 + 234 + 334)
= 708 : 688 = 177: 172
7. (a) Number of males in bank D from all the cities together
= 534 + 478 + 235 + 255 + 124 + 358 = 1984
Number of females in the same bank = 454 + 285 + 235 + 175 + 165 + 234 = 1548
∴ Required ratio = 1984 : 1548 = 496 : 387
8. (a) Number of males in all banks in Delhi
= 254 + 346 + 366 + 478 + 256 + 346 = 2046
Number of females in the same city
= 456 + 256 + 345 + 285 + 166 + 287 = 1795
∴ Required percentage \(= \frac { 1795 } { 2046 } \times 100 \approx \frac { 1800 } { 2000 } \times 100 \approx 90\)
∴ Required answer = 88

Data Interpretation Questions for SBI Clerk 2010 Answers
1. (b)Required ratio = 10 : 25 = 2 : 5
2. (d) Total number of students from Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh
\(= \frac { 8000 \times ( 28 + 14 ) } { 100 }\)
Number of females from these states
\(= \frac { 3500 \times 31 } { 100 } = 1085\)
∴ Number of male students from these states = 3360 – 1085 = 2275
3. (c) Number of male students from Assam
\(= \frac { 8000 \times 18 } { 100 } – \frac { 3500 \times 13 } { 100 }\)
= 1440 – 455 = 985
Number of male students from Madhya Pradesh
\(= \frac { 800 \times 14 } { 100 } – \frac { 3500 \times 13 } { 100 } = 1120 – 455 = 665\)
∴ Required ratio = 985 : 665 = 197 : 133
4. (a) Number of male students from Karnataka
\(= \frac { 8000 \times 13 } { 100 } – \frac { 3500 \times 10 } { 100 } = 1040 – 350 = 690\)
Number of females = 350
∴ Required ratio = 350 : 690 = 35 : 69
5. (e) Required percentage
\(=\frac { 455 }{ 985 } \times 100\approx 46\)
