- The application process for UG, PG courses commences in the month of May every year.
- Candidates who have passed the higher secondary examination (Class 12) from a recognized board of education can apply to UG courses.
- Final admission to merit-based UG courses involves screening of qualifying marks.
- For several UG courses such as B.Tech, BMS, BBA-FIA, etc., candidates have to appear for the university entrance test.

DU MD/MD/MDS 2019 Admission
DU has released a notification regarding admission to MD/MS/MDS programs offered by the Faculty of Medical Sciences.
Admission to the 50% Delhi University Quota seats for the session will be done through the NEET-PG / NEET-MDS entrance test. Candidates seeking admission must submit the application forms through www.fmsc.ac.in and www.du.ac.in along with the required fees of Rs.1500/- (Rs.1000/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates).
DU MD/MD/MDS 2019 Admission Eligibility Criteria
Candidate should have passed final MBBS examination (for MD/MS/Diploma Course) and BDS examination (for MDS Course) from Delhi University and must have completed a satisfactorily one-year compulsory rotating internship as on March 31. Students must also submit their internship completion certificate before or at the time of appearing for the counseling
DU MD/MD/MDS 2019 Admission Selection Process
Final selection of the candidates will be done from the medical graduates and dental surgery graduates of the University of Delhi on the basis of their ranks in NEETPG/ NEET-MDS. Merit list of eligible candidates shall be notified on the official website.
In order to be eligible for counseling, a candidate must obtain a minimum of 50 % marks in NEET-PG/NEET-MDS. In case of candidates belonging to Schedule Caste, Schedule Tribe & Other Backward Classes and Candidates with Disability belonging to SC/ST/OBC category, the minimum required aggregate shall be 40% marks in NEET-PG/NEET-MDS
Counseling and admission to the MD/MS/MDS course will be done strictly on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in the NEET-PG/ NEET-MDS examination.
DU Admission 2019 How to Apply?
- Candidates seeking admission to Delhi University courses can apply online through the official registration portal by following the below mentioned steps, www.du.ac.in/du/
- As a first time user, the candidate shall navigate to the “New Applicant Sign Up” to create the user account by clicking on the “New Registration” link.
- Under the “Create New Account” page, the candidate should fill in all the required details.
- Candidate should verify his/her email-id and Password as henceforth, it will be used for the admission purposes.
- Finally, the candidate should click the “Register” button to create a new user account.
- A confirmation will be sent to the registered email account/mobile number upon creation of the registration account.
- Once registered, the applicant should log on to the UG/PG/Ph.D. admission portal to complete the online registration form.
- Under the “Registered Applicant Sign In” tab, the candidate shall enter “registered email-id” as username and the “password”.
- Upon logging in, the candidate must complete the registration form divided among the following nine sections
- Personal Details, Bank Details
- Academic Details
- Merit-Based Course Selection
- Entrance Based Course Selection
- Sports – In this section, the applicant can select “Yes” for consideration of admission through Sports Quota.
- ECA – In this section, the applicant can select “Yes” for consideration of admission through ECA Quota.
- Uploads – Passport size photograph, Signature, Class X certificate/mark sheet, Self-attested Class XII mark sheet, Self-attested certificates
- Preview – In this section, the applicant can preview the completed application.
- Payment Section – In this section, the applicant can proceed to the online registration payment.
Note: There is no extra registration fee for applying to multiple courses. Also, the applicant can update information in the application form by revisiting the applicant’s account till the last date of registration but before the payment of the online registration fee.
