Kerala Polytechnic Admissions 2019 Courses and Eligibility Criteria
There is two streams for which Diploma Courses are offered in Kerala Polytechnic Colleges. The eligibility criteria are listed below
- The candidates should be Indian Citizens
- The candidates should be natives of Kerala, or should have passed the qualifying examination in Kerala, or should have either parent working in the Public Sector.
- The candidates who have passed the qualifying examination with Mathematics, Science and English are eligible to apply for both the streams
- The candidates with Mathematics and English as subjects in the qualifying examination can apply only for Diploma in Commercial Practice/Diploma in Computer Application and Business Management.
Kerala Polytechnic Admissions 2019 Application Process
The application form will have to be filled online first. The candidates have to register using the name, email ID, date of birth and then proceed to login to fill the form. After filling the form, they have to take a print out of the application. The form will be available at the official website, www.polyadmission.org. The signed form has to be taken to any government aided or private polytechnic college under the Kerala Polytechnic admissions. The form has to be submitted along with all the relevant documents and the application fees have to be paid. The application fees are Rs. 150/- for the open category and Rs. 75/- for the SC/ST category.

Kerala Polytechnic Admissions 2019 Selection Process
The selected candidates have to take a print out of the allotment letters and report to the colleges. The candidate should carry all the original documents mentioned above with them. The candidates who wish to wait to get the higher preference college have to report to the allotted college and have to submit a request for the higher preference.
The Centralized Allotment Process will be carried out through a single window based on the Merit list, as well as on the candidate’s preference. The allotment will be published on the official website.

The seats will be allotted after the registration and form submission. There will be four rounds of allotment and a spot round if seats remain vacant. The seats will be allotted on the basis of merit list that will be based on the grades in the qualifying examination, along with the courses preferred by the candidates. The seat allotment will be published on the official website where the candidates can enter their application number and date of birth to check the allotted seat.
