National Cyber Olympiad(NCO) 2019 – Exam Dates, Registration, Eligibility, Admit Card
The National Cyber Olympiad is generally known as NCO. The National Cyber Olympiad is the first global search competition which was started every year for the skilled candidates with a desire to classify and bring up the cyber talent of the youngsters of the generation. The National Cyber Olympiad is established in order to boost the younger generation to develop their knowledge and comprehension of the problem regarding computers and IT. Talent Search Exams and Olympiads
The National Cyber Olympiad is held every year at the international level for the entitled applicants. The National Cyber Olympiad is conducted with the desire to identify the mental ability, logical and analytical reasoning in computers and IT field of the applicants. The National Cyber Olympiad is held on a single level for the applicants.
The candidates who are studying in any class between the class I to class XII (HSC class) from a reputed school are eligible to appear for the National Cyber Olympiad examination. The official authority of the National Cyber Olympiad will announce all the details regarding all the admission process in online mode on the official website for the assistance of the candidates.
The students will come to know about the essential details from their school teachers or through the Foundation’s official website www.sofworld.org or through the foundation’s Facebook page.

National Cyber Olympiad – Registration of Students
The event is open to the students of classes 1 to 12 and registrations are entitled from the schools in the specified pro-forma. Registration sheets for the school/students and the data booklet are provided to the schools all over India. To appear for NCO 2018, your school must be registered with the Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF). Your school will be accountable for all the communication needed for organizing the NCO exam. You can follow this step-by-step process to get your school registered with SOF.
- Appeal a prospectus by sending an email at [email protected]. A phone call can also be helpful to SOF office. The NCO Registration Form comes along with the prospectus.
- The school must return the registration form to SOF, duly filled in and finish in all respects by the due date.
Candidates willing to appear in NCO can inform the teacher coordinator after registering the school. A nominal registration fee will be charged for the registration.
National Cyber Olympiad – Fees
The participation fee is charged from each student which is very nominal. Part of it is kept by the school for its expenses at the exam center. More information about the fee/mode of payment etc. are given in the School Registration Forms sent to schools.
NCO Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria for NCO is generated by the SOF. Eligibility Criteria is as follows:
- Applicant must be a citizen of India.
- Must be studying in Class 12th or below.

The exam will be on two levels
Level 1: The first level of the NCO is held at the respective schools of the participants during the school hours.
- The Level 1 Exam will comprise a maximum of 35 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for Class II to IV students and 50 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for Class V to Class XII students.
- The NCO Question Paper will have three sections, Logical Reasoning, Computers & Information Technology, and Achievers Section.
Level 2: Level-2 of the NCO will be held for Class III to Class XII students. The students will be qualified for the second level exam on the following basis:
- Top 5% of students depending on the marks scored will be shortlisted class wise. Each section is arranged with a different priority.
- Top 25 rank holders in their zone class wise.
NCO Reward
The National Cyber Olympiad is a state level talent search competition. NCO objective is to select students to participate in India globally in the field of Computers and IT. To motivate the participating students, the following rewards are offered:

NCO Admit card
The Science Olympiad Foundation will organize the National Cyber Olympiad on 20th December and 31st January. The desired applicants are suggested to download the Nationa Cyber Olympiad Admit Card 2018. Applicants who will fail to download the admit card on time will not be eligible to appear for the exam. They will be published one or two weeks prior to the examinations. The students will be able to check their center name, timing, and details about the exam in the hall ticket.
