Telangana Common Entrance Test (TGCET) 2019 – Application Form, Exam Date, Pattern, Eligibility
The government of Telangana will update the admission notice for Admission into 5th Class for the academic year 2019-20 through Common Entrance Test. TGCET 2019 will be held to take admission in TREIS, TSWREIS, TTWREIS, MJPTBCWREIS. Application Form will be available to fill and properly submitted on prior last date to take admission.
TGCET 2019 is also called as Telangana Gurukul VTGCET 2019. Selection of student will be finished depending on the marks scored by the candidate in the Common Entrance Test. Telangana Common Entrance Test (TGCET) 2019
Desired students could apply by filling the application form online. Prior to filling the application form, candidates must make sure their eligibility. The common entrance exam TGCET 2019 is also generally known as Telangana Gurukul VTGCET 2019. The official authority will offer admission to the eligible applicants on the basis of the marks gained by them in the entrance exam. Telangana Common Entrance Test (TGCET) Eligibility Criteria
Students should possess a bonafide of Class VI during the academic year 2018-2019 in any Government School or any acclaimed school of Telangana State. Class VI qualified applicants from any government school or any other recognized school which is located in Telangana, eligible to appear for the entrance exam.
Students should have born between September 01, 2008 to August 31, 2010 (Age between 9-11 years as on 01.09.2019 are eligible) and 2 years exemption for SC, ST candidates, that means age between 9-13 years as on 01.09.2019 are eligible. (Between 01-09-2016 to 31-08-2010). Reserved category applicants should be below the age of 13 years at the time of admission.
The income of parents of the students annually should not be beyond:
- Parents of Rural areas should cross Rs. 1,50,000 per annum.
- In the same way Urban areas parents, their per annum income should not exceed Rs. 2,00,000.
Telangana Common Entrance Test (TGCET) Application Form
A government of Telangana will publish application form for TGCET 2019. Students have to fill the application form for Class 5th for the academic year 2019-20. The application form will be available at the official website www.tgcet.cgg.gov.in. Interested candidates have their eligibility mentioned prior to filling the application form. Candidate must submit the filled form online on or prior to its last date.
- The candidates are required to register themselves and download the application form from the website.
- After that with the help of the educational documents candidates are assisted to fill the application form by filling necessary details in it as required.
- All the details in the form should be filled duly and then candidates need to check the details.
- And then applicants are requested to take a printout of the properly filled application form and submit that.

Telangana Common Entrance Test (TGCET) Exam Pattern
Each question is of one mark. The question paper will have four parts. Subjects which will be asked in question paper are Telugu, English, Mathematics and Environmental Science. All the questions will be in objective type. Students have to opt one choice among them. Candidates will be permitted to finish the Common Entrance Test in 2 hours. Question Paper will comprise a total 100 marks.

- In online mode, the official authority will notify about the admit cards of the candidates.
- In order to appear for the entrance exam applicants are directed to download the admit card from the official website of the university using the login credentials initiated at the time of registration.
- Once the procedure of application form is finished the admit card will be notified on the official website of the university.
- Candidates who want to appear for the entrance exam are advised to carry the admit card along with them as it is a mandatory
- The admit card should be taken in some copies which should be kept safely for the further reference.
Telangana Common Entrance Test (TGCET) Result
Result for Telangana Gurukul Common Entrance Test will be published online. Students can check the result of TGCET 2019 by going through the official website. Students are required to enter their Hall Ticket number and Date of Birth to download their result. The government of Telangana has published the result after finishing of the exam. Applicants who will clear the entrance test will be shortlisted for the counseling round. Post that admission will be done on the grounds of counseling.
Telangana Common Entrance Test (TGCET) Selection Process
Selection of students will be done on the grounds of marks scored in the Telangana Common Entrance Test. Merit list will be prepared of the students who will clear the cut off criteria. Candidates whose name will be listed in the merit list will be qualified for the counseling round. Candidates who scored high marks will be qualified first for admission. In the counseling session, the candidates will have to submit the required documents for verification. Based on the performance of the students in the entrance exam and counseling session, the official authority will offer admission to the applicants.
