This test is conducted for the aspirants who are willing to get admissions in Postgraduate programs, such as MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech and M.Arch in various private professional, arts and science colleges under the management quota in the state of Tamilnadu.
TNSF Consortium Common Entrance Test 2019 for MBA/ MCA/ ME/ M.Tech/ M.Arch
This Consortium has been formed by Seven Associations in the State of Tamilnadu, in the name of “Consortium of Self Financing Professional, Arts and Science Colleges in Tamilnadu” and is responsible to conduct TNSF Consortium Common Entrance Test. The members of this consortium are the majority of the Engineering, Arts and Science Colleges.
TNSF Consortium Common Entrance Test 2019 Important Dates
Candidates who are applying for TNSF Consortium Common Entrance Test 2019, have to apply online or offline mode via official website www.tnsfconsortium.org. TNSF Consortium Common Entrance Test 2019 Eligibility Criteria
TNSF Consortium has stated eligibility criteria for each of Postgraduate courses such as MBA, MCA, ME, M.Tech and M.Arch. Candidates who fulfill the criteria are only eligible to apply for TNSF Consortium CET 2019 exam. Let us check the eligibility criteria’s for each course one by one.
Postgraduate in MBA
Candidates must have passed bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate in case of general category and 45% in case of reserved category.
- 10+2+3 years of education or 10+3 years Diploma + 3 years education
- BE/B.Tech/BBA/B.Arch/B.Pharm or AMIE with 2 years of regular full-time experience.
- 10+2+AMIE or 10+3 years diploma(awarded by State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE.
Postgraduate in MCA
Candidates must have passed bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate in case of general category and 45% in case of reserved category.
- 10+2+3 or 4 years of education or 10+3 years of Diploma + 3years of education
- 10+2+AMIE Or 10+3 years diploma(awarded by State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE.
Postgraduate in MCA Lateral Entry
Candidates must have passed bachelor’s degree of minimum 3 years in BCA, B.Sc.(Information Technology/Computer Science) with Mathematics as a subject in 10+2 or at the graduate level, from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate in case of general category and 45% in case of reserved category.
- 10+2+3 years of education
Postgraduate in M.E./M.Tech./M.Arch. and M.Plan
Candidates must have passed bachelor’s degree or equivalent from a recognized institute or university. Candidates should have passed a bachelor’s degree with 50% aggregate in case of general category and 45% in case of reserved category.
- Graduated in BE/B.Tech./B.Arch
- Or graduated in B.Pharm.
- Or Master’s degree in the relevant branch
- Or 10+2+AMIE
- Or 10+3 years diploma(awarded by State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE.
Note
- Candidates who are appearing for qualifying exams are eligible. Although at the time of admission, the candidate should have cleared their qualifying exams.
- Candidates who have done distance or correspondence courses in BE / B.Tech./ MCA / M.Sc. are not eligible.
TNSF Consortium Common Entrance Test Application Form
Candidates who want to apply for TNSF Consortium 2019 CET, have to apply through online or offline mode. Candidates should make sure to fill the details completely and correctly, to avoid any rejection of the application. Candidates are advised to read the eligibility criteria mentioned above before applying for the TNSF CET 2019.
Online Application Form
For the candidates who are residing outside the Tamil Nadu state can apply online and send the application form at concerned address.
- Visit the official website www.tnsfconsortium.org.
- Click on the link available to APPLY ONLINE For MBA/MCA/ME/M.Tech./M.Arch.
- Fill the mandatory details and required details correctly.
- Submit the application form and take a print out of it
- Paste your passport sized photo in the space available for the application form.
- Put your signature in the signature box.
- Enclose the form with the demand draft of Application fees of
- Rs.450/- for Unreserved category(Examination fee is Rs.400/- and Application fee is Rs.50/-)
- Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/SCA category(Examination fee is Rs.200/- and Application fee is 50/-) and send at the concerned office
Offline Application Form
- Fill the application form provided along the information booklet.
- Enclose the form with the crossed demand draft of Application fees of
- Rs.400/- for Unreserved category
- Rs.200/- for Tamil Nadu SC/ST/SCA category
- Candidates with reserved category have to enclose and attest the copy of their community certificate issued by competent authority along with the application.
- If the candidates want to give the test for both MBA/MCA and ME/M.Tech.M.Arch CET, they have to enclose a DD of Rs.800(for reserved category) and Rs.400(for Tamil Nadu SC/ST/SCA), along with the application form.
- Send the eclosure on or before the last date of submission to the relevant address
TNSF Consortium Common Entrance Test Admit Card
- Admit card for TNSF CET 2019 will be issued in online mode only for those candidates who have submitted the application form.
- A direct link will be provided on the official website (www.tnsfconsortium.org) to download the application form.
- Candidates need to enter their login credentials to download the admit card.
- Carry the admit card along with you in the examination center failing which you may not be allowed to write the test.

MBA Course
- 100 objective type questions
- Time duration – 2 hours

- To choose the appropriate answer for critical situation in Business
- Comprehension passages
- Mathematical problems based on graduate level and +2 level.
- Data sufficiency questions along with Mathematics application in day to day life.
- English grammar, punctuations, finding the errors etc.
MCA Course

TNSF Consortium Common Entrance Test Results
- The results for TNSF Consortium CET will be released on the official website, www.tnsfconsortium.org.
- Candidates will be provided with a direct link to check the results
- Candidates have to enter the login credentials while checking the results
- After they have checked the result, candidates are advised to download it and keep for future reference.
- Only the candidates who have cleared the test and who are eligible according to the criteria’s mentioned by the organization will be given admission in the prescribed courses.
