Sailors along with his family are allowed to travel free in trains every year on leave.

Retirement Benefits for Indian Navy Sailor

  • After serving 15 years of service to the Indian Navy, a sailor is eligible to get pension and other retirement benefits.
  • To look for resettlement of all retired personnel, the Indian Navy provides job-oriented courses and training for the jobs available.

Indian Navy Officer Promotion

After the promotion into the Honorary Commissioned rank, there will be an increment given to the officer unless this amount is less than Rs. 15,600 i.e. minimum of PB-3.
